From the lab bench to Brazil's largest industrial complexes — a journey of innovation with purpose.

The Beginning

## An idea born from industry, for industry.

Ubivis was conceived in 2015 by Paulo Henrique Garcia de Souza, a chemical engineer who graduated from UFSCar with a master's degree in International Management from HEC Montréal. After working in industry and at major telecom companies in the United States, Paulo returned to Brazil with one conviction: the quality function could be fully automated.

In 2016, the idea became a product. Selected by Senai's Industry Innovation Call, Ubivis's first machine data reader was launched — and quickly proved a strong fit with Industry 4.0 concepts. The market responded. The company shifted toward advanced manufacturing and has never stopped growing.

2015

Selected in the Sesi Senai Innovation Call, receiving a grant of over R$ 600 thousand in technical hours.

2016

Launch of the first machine data reader. Finalist in the InovAtiva acceleration program — 2016.2 cycle.

2017

Selected twice by ABDI's Startup Industry Connection Program. Accelerated by Intel and integrated into the Intel AI Builders program via Liga IoT.

2018

Global highlight

Among the 18 startups selected worldwide for the Global Manufacturing & Industrialization Summit in Abu Dhabi — UAE. The start of five consecutive years among the Top 10 most prominent startups in Brazil.

2020

New client

Accelerated by Shell in the Fábrica de Startups Oil & Gas program. Shell Brazil becomes a client.

2021

Award

Winner of the Petrobras Predictive Maintenance Challenge — 2021 Call.

2023

Selected in a FINEP call to develop an artificial intelligence solution applied to mining.
